My guess (and that is all it is) on who will be back next year for the Pats
Unrestricted Guys
Troy Brown-A great Patriot, Cheap MBT Sport 2but it is time to go. Probably should have been last year.
Tedy Brushi-Will be back, in a more limited role
Jabar Gaffney-Will probably be back, seems to have clicked with Brady, but if he gets a great offer elsewhere, the Pats will bid adieu.
Randall Gay-Yes, he will be back, especially if Asante Samuel leaves
Larry Izzo-Yes he will be back.
Mel Mitchell-Probably not, although would be nice to have on special teams
Rashad Moore-No
Randy Moss-Along with Samuel, the biggest question in terms of who will be back. I say #81 will be back.
Lonnie Paxton-Yes, this is our long snapper for the foreseeable future.
Asante Samuel-I want him to stay, but do not see it happening. I fear he will be a Jet next season. Just a thought. Cheap MBT MWalkChad Scott-How does he make $1.22 mill? Seau only makes a mill. Chad Scott will be gone.
Junior Seau-If they had won on Sunday, he would have been gone, but I say he comes back for one more season. Despite his age, played pretty well this season, until Super Bowl Sunday (2 tackles).
Eugene Wilson-You may see me as a nickel back before you see Eugene. Goodbye and frankly, good riddance.
And although I am a big fan of his, I fear Dante Stallworth will be gone as well. He is owed a huge pay increase next season and there was little chance of the Pats picking it up for 2008. He had a few big plays throughout the season (and a couple in the playoffs), but it never happened for Stallworth here, Cheap MBT Chapa GTXand by the end of the year, Gaffney was contributing more regularly.
